Fun facts:

I love to bark

I love anything that squeaks

Upside down with all four legs in the air is my favourite sleeping position

I came from an hoarding house and was adopted from the HSDR

I love to eat grass, my owners always say I’m part cow

I love any animal that moves, I don’t eat I just want them to be my friends

I love to eat my dinner and if I’m lucky my brother will leave some of his for me to eat.

I love to give you kisses

I pull a lot on my walks because I get too excited.

I love human food and can even reach the counter and grab a taste if I’m lucky (I’m not suppose to but I can’t help it)

I have a great sense of smell and once I have a scent I like there’s no stopping me.

My Story

I will be five on September: 12th. I met my forever family when I was just 8 weeks old. Many think because I was so small I don’t remember however, the beginning of my life was a little scary, I’m not quite sure who my mom or dad is and I remember being around a lot of other puppies, some very large and loud. My dinner would get stolen and I would often hide because I was afraid. I remember coming to the humane society of Durham region and being taken care of by all the wonderful people there. A lot of different people would pass by room, I was pretty cute so I don’t blame them. I remember meeting my mom and dad and I instantly knew they were my people, my dad didn’t have to look further he instantly knew. They left that first day and I hoped I’d see them again and not long after they returned with my human siblings to make sure everyone agreed to take me on. Of course they fell in love and they spent time with me in a room, playing with toys, I was just so full of excitement all I could do was zoom from person to person. Next challenge was meeting my fur brother, my parents brought in Bear to make sure we got along and sure enough it was love at first sight at least for me. My brother took a little time but now we are a pair and love to walk together, if he gets too far I bark and try to speed up and I always stop and look behind if he’s slowed down.

I loved to take anything I could find on the floor and run out into the backyard to let my family know I wanted to play, I still do that occasionally when I want some attention. I didn’t chew up clothes or shoes but I loved anything wood especially the baseboards and the kitchen table. If you look my teeth marks are still there. I used my pee pad for the first week and then I found out I could tear them up into confetti so my mom took them away. This made me learn quickly I had to pee on the free stuff outside.

My bark was cute and squeaky and as I grew it turned into a strong bark that often startles my family especially when I wait until it’s nice and quiet and let one out so everyone knows I’m still around.

I’m very sweet and loveable and have two eyes that look different due to my brown patch. My white eye as my family calls it, gets red when I’m tired and that’s when they know it’s my time to sleep. Once I’m sleep I’m out for the night and when I wake I’m ready to play. I’m weird and quirky but so happy with life. I got another chance at life at just 2 months old and for that I’ll always be grateful because some aren’t as lucky as me.
